Learning to Love
Updated: Feb 22
Relationships of any type have always been difficult for me; I have encountered much rejection and betrayal along the way, scattered generously among the laughs and good times. These challenges have shaped who I am today, in that I have learned to forgive, but more importantly, to let go!

I have also learned how to be happy from within myself, and to stop looking for it from any other person. I have learned to value my alone time, understanding that I have more to offer when I take the time to be with myself and love myself.
I have also learned that truly loving someone (unconditionally) creates freedom in your relationship with them because no matter what they do, or how they react to events, it does not change your love for them, and as a result your happiness is unaffected.
And even when we find it necessary to walk away from a relationship, we do not stop loving that person because there was no condition for that love in the first place… we simply love them because they are!
Much love and many blessings to you.
Yvette.
