Make Your Own… Granola
It’s really easy (and healthier for you) to make your own granola at home!
Today I made yet another treatment of my morning oats…
It‘s fragrant, crunchy, and nutritious. I hope you’ll try this!
Ingredients:
2 tbsp virgin coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon (or less if you’re not a cinnamon lover like me)
pinch of salt
1 tbsp honey (I always use raw honey)
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup nuts of your choice (I used pecans today)
3 tbsp desiccated coconut (optional) (I used some that I made in the air fryer some time ago)
fresh fruit of your choice for topping (today I used banana)
Method:
Preheat your oven to 150 C / 300 F on toast setting
Measure the coconut oil, cinnamon, salt and honey into a bowl and mix well

Add oats, nuts and coconut

Mix well so that everything is well coated

Place the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper

Cook for about 10 minutes
Transfer your fragrant, toasted granola into a cereal bowl
Top with fruit and/or yogurt, add milk, and enjoy!

Blessings,
Yvette
